Kidney Stone Clinic

The Kidney Stone Clinic is a specialized unit. It enables patients with stone-related conditions to be seen more urgently and be promptly treated. The clinic works directly with other services to provide a more tailored approach in stone management. It works closely with the on-site radiology services that have the most up to date equipment available. In many instances, these tests can be performed on the same day if necessary. Pathology tests are also available on-site to investigate any metabolic causes for kidney stones and/or their prevention.

Our practice nurse Elizabeth (Nepean Private Clinic), is available to provide ongoing clinical support and answer any further questions in conjunction with your Urologist. Should the need arise for surgery to treat your stone; you should rest assured that the affiliated private hospitals have the latest equipment available to perform surgery in minimally invasive fashion.
